St. Andrews University Mountaineering Club
As publicity officer for St. Andrews University Mountaineering Club (STAUMC), I have covered events and trips, created graphics for social media publication, and managed web design. Founded in 1934, the club has a long history of engaging with the beautiful outdoor spaces that surround St Andrews and the outdoors have been the focus of much of my work with STAUMC.
Mt first major project with STAUMC was to develop graphics for their committee introductions at the beginning of the 2021/22 year to expand the club’s social media reach and create community between committee members and everyone who socializes, climbs, and travels with the club. My inspiration for these graphics were old climbing magazines from the 1930s-1980s.
